This is a non-paid internship. For those who are interested in the world of marketing, working for a radio station definitely broadens the scope for networking relationships as well as a chance for future employment.
The tasks and responsibilities of the intern will include but is not limited to the following:
• Retrieving winner information, and prizes
• Learning how to write Press Releases
• Recording Live Actualities from station listeners and editing audio to play on-air
• Working closely with Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and video editing software’s
• Uploading, Editing, and labeling pictures onto our website
• Putting event information onto our website
• Retrieving air checks for our clients/sponsors
• Preparing for major station events and concerts
• Participating in our local van hits, remotes, and appearances
• Learning how to write Press Releases
